Rob Hagenstrom's FAQ has a complete section for AR Emulators. The last time I
played XL-IT was the best one to use (different versions depending on whether
you played the City or the Dungeon!!), but I think there's another one that
works with AR well now too... 800win or something.

PS - Rob, are you going to join the webring? (I can't get into the "approve"
function on webring.com, or yahoo or whatever, so if you've already joined,
ignore this message).
For those of you who miss the C-64 sound chip, check out the sid station at
www.sidstation.com - way cool for any musicians in the audience. Now of
someone would do this for the Pokey chip...
For those of you who missed my announcement on the previous version of the AR
list, http://gamingdepot.com/ has tons of classic gaming downloads... way
cool. Get Unlimited Adventures while you can! with it you can make classic SSI
gold box style games.

What is the best Emulator to use for Alternate Reality and the easiest
to use? I have tried using the Commodore 64 versions of AR and have had
trouble getting it to fully work and just got frustrated with the whole
thing. So Any help with this would be beneficial to all of us as well as
to myself.
Better yet, has anyone thought of just making an emulator to run
just AR?
