Subject: Time for a new kind of RPG?

Amazing. A system that resembles Astrology. What you described to me in your
stat handling is what I've seen in natal charts that I've drawn up for
people over the past 19 years. (I started in astrology when I was 11 helping
my parents run charts) Dynamic Tension is a perfect phrase. The more dynamic
a person's chart was, the more tension and inner conflict they have. This is
the basis of learning from thinking out the consequences of own mistakes and
adjusting for them. On the other end of the scale if the person had Static
Tension, or close to none at all, everything in their chart conformed and
was favorable, they appeared to be indeviduals who were immature from the
lack of challenges in life and have little wisdom.

In Astrology, a person has many traits linked to their many heavenly body
placements. Although each trait can be separated into categories they all
work together as one being. Any computer program can delineate an
astrological chart and give descriptions for each trait, but it takes
another human to put it all together(delineate) and make sense of it. Its
very much like identifying soup ingredients. Its easier to figure out what's
in some soups than others.

In the many years I have performed astrological readings I have concluded
that it requires balance of both favorable and challenging traits to make a
successful and fulfilled person. Not so much Dynamic Tension as to break
them, but a life not so static that they road the wave through their
existence, accomplishing nothing.

Sounds like a GREAT way to make a life-like RPG!
