Except the response you'd get from the knight on most MMORPGs would be "LOL d00d save some 4 me u noob."

I think a most single player RPG's don't give any feedback about your
roleplaying (accept alternate reality and morrowind). Meaning, no matter if
you play good or bad it doesn't make any difference.
I've never played a MMORPG yet, but I presume if you're level 10 and you're
killing some low level peasants, a knight might see you and actually act on
it ... Both good roleplaying for you AND him ...

MMORPGs are NOT RPGs.  You cannot effectively roleplay in those games.

this the first computerized greyhawk game?  or have there been others?

Am I the only person who fails to enjoy MMORPG's?  I tried Everquest,
and it
was a chore to play.  I got more excited vacuuming and doing dishes.
