Subject: ring tones! / new games
Author: Kyle West <barrick75--hotmail.com>

from what I saw of everquest, it was very role-playing. TOO role-playing,
to the point where you had to become a different person. You had to work,
fish for food, make your own weapons.. and with all due respect to the
creators, that's BORING. I have to work already, so I couldn't figure out
why I would want to spend me freetime doing monotonous things like trying to
increase my direction sensing. It was like.. all role-playing, no game.
The only 'quest' I ever found to complete was delivering mail. Again, that
sounds more like work than a quest. I basically got the feeling that it was
a virtual, overpriced chatroom for 10 year olds. Then again, if I was still
10, I'd probably love it. :-D
