That is so true.  MMORPG's are fun, but most people are only interested in stats, hack and slash.

I think a most single player RPG's don't give any feedback about your
roleplaying (accept alternate reality and morrowind). Meaning, no matter if
you play good or bad it doesn't make any difference.
I've never played a MMORPG yet, but I presume if you're level 10 and you're
killing some low level peasants, a knight might see you and actually act on
it ... Both good roleplaying for you AND him ...
