The first phone virus has hit... They're more common in Japan where, I believe cell phones are more common (or were). It caused all phones on a certain network to call 911, so the provider had to shut down calls to 911. It was spread via the network, maybe something as simple as a buffer overrun on SMS. An open-source phone sounds like a fun idea.

To this day, AR is the best computer role playing experience I've ever had. Open ended, I defined my character by my actions and not at the beginning of the game. I never got into the MMORPGs...
