I can't tell ya much, other than you are mostly correct that you can't pick
what server you are on. however, you can pay in-game gil to buy a world
pass which lets your friend join the same world as you. I'm getting annoyed
tho because the world pass is 15 gil.. I played for 4 hours last night and
did not earn a single gil from killing anyone. most of the items I earned
(5 or 6) were only worth around 14 gil, so I would have to play for another
week or so just to get my friend onto the same server.
has anyone played everquest instead? I would be curious what you guys
thought of that. I tried it, but never really got into it. another friend
of mine is really trying to get me to try that again too, but I am not sure
I want to be in two online worlds at once.
