You can convert the indians....but it took a lot of
goods..................Conversion was only really important in concerns
with the Incan Empire.....because if you converted the incan
emperor(which took a LOT of gifts.....I had to click give gift for like
5 mins straight!) then all the incan cities got converted. The only
problem was that you had to enter ALL the incan cities before you left
for Spain and leave men to turn it into a for or mission before you went
back to Spain. That meant that you had to bring about 300-400 men to
convert the incan empire. You also had to carefully manage how much you
took back each time. If you took too much back too quickly you wouldn't
get promoted to the higher promotions. So you started with the smaller
tribes...graduated to the navaho type cultures then mayan then aztec and
finally incan. Once you got a network of missions across the continent
then you went searching around for mines and major landforms and river
sources to pump your score up.
That was so much fun.......
