Hello!
You should be able to map the joystick to any keyboard keys using the
emulator. Or, you could do like me...

The entering/leaving I think has to do with write protected discs, but I
am not certain.
Oh, and for the record, the best Atari emulator today seems to be
Atari++ and I still haven't updated the FAQ to reflect this, but I
will... someday.
