I tried the Atari ST versions again. I can't get v1.2 to run, and v2 works, but I start out in the middle of the night, with it raining, and the inn won't let me come in because I'm wicked. This happens with both the cracked and normal version. Is this just how the ST version starts? What exactly is the difference between the 3 Atari ST versions? But the sound is way better on the ST. For the record, I couldn't get emuTOS to work with AR.
v. 1.2 has only one disc (right?), and I can't get it to play beyond the intro. Someone let me know if there's more than one disc.
As far as the joystick controls for the Atari 800 version, I found the answer, but it's irritating. I remapped it a couple different ways in the emulator, but the backing out of banks was alway different. So if I used I-J-K-L, the back out of banks key was on the numeric keypad. If I used the numeric keypad, backing up was something else.
As far as the original mac version goes, I remember running it on an SE. The problem is that the Mac Plus emulator won't see 400k single sided disks. I'll contact the creators and see if it's something they can throw into the next version. I know you don't have to go to sys2 to play it, but I think there's something else wrong with the mac disc images. I remember loading up sys 2 on a mac plus after having written the disc files to actual 400k discs and the copy protection kicked in and wouldn't let me play.
