Ah, yes... the menus are a pain, but the reason I like it is:
1) You do not require any ROMs at all.
2) It is made in SDL, which means that it is mostly "future proof".
By future proof, I mean that we will probably not have to hunt for
different emulators again, which we used to (moving from Xl-it for DOS
to Atari800 for Windows...). I mean, who knows what operating systems we
will run in the future, but Atari++ will run on them all, as I am sure
SDL will outlive the win32 API (and SDL can also be run on PDAs and
probably even consoles in the future).
The first point is important also, since even someone who never owned an
Atari can now play AR legally.
