Hello, I am a big fan of the Alternate Reality Games.
It all started with my Atart ST version of the City
(until I accidentally formated my game disk as a
character disk, it took a while to get over it). Later
I managed to play the city and the dungeon on
emulators later, until the hard drive crashed.

Lately I have been trying to play AR on my Atari 800
emulator (Xlitcd), and an Atari ST emulator (STeem),
which I just recently installed. Problem is that my
800 emulator freezes up on the title screen before the
flying saucer comes onto the screen. The dungeon
freezes up as well. And I can't get past the
copy-protection on the ST emulator (No sleeping in the
inns, getting kicked out of taverns).
Is there anyway to get around either of these
problems?

Are there Alternate Reality Games still being worked
on? The ARO site went down quite I while ago and I
haven't found anything since until I found this site.

One other thing, I am pretty skilled at programming in
C++, and was wondering if there are any legal problems
I should worry about if I want to reprogram a more
updated AR.

Thanks
