I did exactly the same thing with one of the Dungeon
disks on my Commodore 64 (back in 1980 something).

I've got one disk image of version 1.2 of the ST City
that seems to work fairly well. Let me know if you'd
like me to send you a copy.

I'm still working on a fairly modest port of the City
and the Dungeon. I've been working on this since last
year but due to work and family commitments I've only
tended to do a bit of work every so often.
So far what I have is a sort of interactive automap /
map viewer that allows you to walk around the City and
Dungeon levels and move between them via stairways
like the original Dungeon. I've done some work on some
of the modules such as the D&P and Dungeon guilds
including graphics and music (.OGG versions of the
original Atari music sampled using AtariWin Plus).
Still no 3D view, encounters or items.
I've just about completed some project webpages which
I plan to upload along with a simple demo of what I've
done so far.

I think Philip Price was ok about the idea when other
people have raised it in the past, though he said that
they would need his permission. I think it might
depend on how "updated" your version was. Good luck if
you go ahead anyway.
