Seriously ... I'm not anti WoW or anything, I just don't see what the
big deal is about.
I agree it's one of the better MMORPGs, arguably even the best, but
'special' ?
It's just more of the same if you ask me. Even the role playing servers
don't offer anything special, I tried role playing there for a bit but
really didn't get a lot of response from anyone. After all the
excitement people are making about it, I was really dissapointed. I'm
not saying it's a bad game, quite the contrary, but there's really
nothing 'special' about it. I think it's a bit like with Doom, it's so
uncomplicated and simple for people to get into, a lot of people who
have never played anything like this are getting into it and are raving
about how new the concept is...
I have only played it for a few hours on a friends account, checked out
a few characters at different levels so I know I have not seen the
complete game. However that same friend told me some of the details
about the game and I didn't hear anything that made me go WoW :)

Opinions ?

I mostly play the old games, but have played a few online games,
Asherons call 2, and planetside are my favorites. What is a good action
or rpg online now? I have been on this mailing list for a long time but
have not posted a lot. I still play the holy AR for amiga. When I was
young it griped me more than any other game. I went many nights without
sleep to play. Seems to be a lot of game knowledge on this site, you
would think someone could make a killer game with this knowledge.
