I have played EQ since many years but never worried about char advance and
whatever. I have a shaman level 52 but I start to find the game pretty monotonous.
How it's EQ2? Is it better? Can you compare it? Gameplay, atmosphere, char
advancement, social play, guilds, online events, etc.
I am thinking to migrate from EQ to EQ2, but I must know if its worth.

Yes, there is armour and weapon breakage, but you only lose
durability if you die and you can repair it back to new at a small
cost. Its more of a money sink, but one that can be avoided with
smart play.
