I know it was DOAC, but I did misunderstand the hack
part. There's hackers in every MMORPG. I'm happy that
Mythic did their best to get rid of them. They banned
a lot of people using the radar hacks. I haven't heard
of the speed hack though.

I really didn't see a major slowdown for XP in DAOC
until level 46+ After that, it took about 2 hours of
constant PVE to get 1 XP bubble filled. And if you
died, just don't /release.. find a cleric. That could
be difficult these days since most of the clerics are
now bots! The worst thing Mythic did for DAOC was to
fully support player bots.. and them making Trials Of
Atlantis was a pretty bad idea as well. All that
expansion did was turn DAOC into EQ.
